Weekly disc golf course update and reviews
starting with the courses I regularly play and later expanding to courses asked by readers
My home course is Veterans
Park in Arlington, Tx. home of the Texas Rangers baseball, Six Flags over Texas amusement
park, Hurricane Harbor water park, and soon to be home of the Dallas Cowboys and thier new Stadium, How bout dem Boys?! :)
Unfortunately I'm a little burned out of Veterans so I've been mostly playing Z. Boaz Disc
Golf Course in Benbrook, south of Fort Worth, Tx. I've also been playing the newest course in the metroplex Lester Lorch Disc
Golf Course in Cedar Hill which is actually two(2) completely different eighteen(18) hole courses in one location.
I love them both and consider them and Veterans not only the most challenging but the best
courses by far in the DFW metroplex. I'm an avid recreational player currently my schedule only allows me to play on the weekend.
You may not see me I play mostly by my self and with my two(2) cattle dogs. Hence one reason you won't see me much I start
very early to allow for me and the boys room without running into other players bothering both them and us. But I do love
the game and have had as many as 20 discs in my bag at once but since I've lost approimately 10 discs this year I'm done to
2 pro drivers and the rest are dog chewed putters and DX plastic mid range and short drivers.
